Look long at what pleases you. 🖤 And longer at what pains you.

How does one begin to heal if the heart is in pieces?

How does one begin to pick up those broken pieces, one by one, without risking a cut on their fingers?

How does one know which pieces fit with the other to make the heart whole again?

How does one heal if they remain at the same place where they were broken?

Pick those pieces up, smile, and walk forward. Until that last heartbeat there is hope.
@Fungirlmmm
That line line hits home. Sigh.

Until that last heartbeat there is hope.

@CookieCrumbs :* I will be there for you as long as I can.

Sometimes Cookies Crumble, but the deliciousness is always there… so maybe it’s all about the journey. Our pains are part of the process, so that we know the deliciousness and appreciate it more when we have it 🍪 😉 or maybe I’m just rambling. Lol. I think there’s a message there somewhere… as far as figuring out how to do it… please let me know when you figure it out! I could use that help myself ; keeping it together ☮️
@CCMorgan
😂 Hey CC! I’ve miss you, man! You promised to cook that steak for me.

Lol. I think there’s a message there somewhere… as far as figuring out how to do it… please let me know when you figure it out!

You’ll be first on my list for the training sessions. Cross your fingers that I figure this out. Hugs!

Piece by piece:

@JoyfulSilence
Wow! That would take me the rest of my life..

@CookieCrumbs

May you live long!
Ambroseguy80 · 56-60, M
By picking them up before they break completely. Cradling them so they don’t fall. Fusing it back together over time. 💙
@Ambroseguy80
Hmmm. That’s a very practical suggestion….*wish I hd thought of that first*
Ambroseguy80 · 56-60, M
@CookieCrumbs Practical…. And proven. 😏
SensualRomantic · 46-50, M
Heart has its own magnetic power to pull pieces together to be whole even after we feel it shattered to millions. It never lose hope. Always ask what if just like us.
@SensualRomantic
Resilient, in most cases.

As a long-time canoer, I have found that, in most water, a stroke of a paddle can change your position. Take it to the bank.
@Freeranger
But the stroke of the paddle should vary with the flow of the water….?
Freeranger · M
@CookieCrumbs I could tell you stories....😘
SweetMae · 70-79, F
You can pick up the pieces as long as you have hope in your heart that there will be a better tomorrow.
@SweetMae
I believe you. I think when we keep thinking all is lost, that’s when we feel the heartbreak - whether it is for relationships or life goals.
That was great! Realizing I need a change in my environment to see real change in my life.
@userfawkes1105
When you’ve done everything you can, then maybe that’s the next option to consider.

A hard lesson at times
@JohnnyNoir
Sometimes, it is a lesson we have to relearn not just once.
JohnnyNoir · 56-60, M
@CookieCrumbs very true, and all the more reason to take that longer look
Classified · M
Why look a lot at that what pains me? 🤔
Ferric67 · M
No choice, just do it
Zonuss · 41-45, M
I prefer to look at what pleases me. 🙂
