Do you believe that love is nothing more than just brain chemistry, or do you believe it's deeper than that?

Deeper than brain chemistry. My mother still loved my father even though she did not always recognize him. She had Alzheimers Disease.

Brain chemistry releasing some stupid chemicals which makes us high and into the moment.We try to love ourselves when others love us . Thats all.When their love evaporates we no longer love us

Same as our perceptions, thoughts, memories and feelings necessarily have some kind of material representation.
True that literature is more than ink and love more than chemistry.
Even so they wouldn´t exist without them.
