What do you do when you’re in love with someone you can’t have?

You mean can't stay with them or it's just unrequited?
If i couldn't stay with them but the feelings were reciprocal that would make me happy and sad at the same time cause I'd love being with them but just would accept it and focus on other things so my life isn't consumed by feelings, and wish them well and keep in touch with them if posible 🥰 I'd want them to be in my life if that's what they want ofc otherwise there's no point
And if it's unrequited, I would stop loving them (in the case I developed strong feelings for someone that didn't feel the same way for me, it hasn't really happened to me) cause for me if it's not reciprocal it's nothing. And again, focus on my life.
