It’s almost 7 PM now and the sun is sinking. I am thankful for the evening, the beautiful weekend, and all the men and women that keep us safe. Happy Memorial Day guys.

It is an awesome responsibility to honor those who fought to preserve and defend democracy. Remember to thank servicemen and what men on Armed Forces Day. I always pay for the food of them at rest stops on the highway. During my time in the military, things were much different. I wouldn't be seen in my uniform if I could avoid it.

@Jill1990 yes. i do get a discount at some restaurants and Home Depot and Lowes for being a veteran.
