Striped bass. It’s easy to prepare and I can get it locally caught so it’s super fresh.

I think it's salmon if it's not too strong. They are amazing in those little wrap snacks 🥴

Sardines because they're cheap as hell, they're always fresh/fished (not from aquaculture I mean, they don't taste like soy), and taste pretty good as well 😌
Lacemaker · 41-45, F
Salmon. I don't know why, I just love the taste and texture and it does contain Omega 3 after all.

Freshwater...has to be walleye.
Ocean fish...has to be grouper.

But, fish? Yes...yummo!

I forgot, why?
Walleye is moist and not too fishy. It has a nice flaky meat and is great cooked many different ways.
Here, it is most always available and fresh.

Grouper. Well grouper really is my favorite. It's meaty and just very tasty.
I love it both blackened and grilled.
Hard to get up here though.

Fresh blue gill, cod liver from the can (taste mild not like the oil variant,) and cod. I like cod liver and mashed eggs with mayo and some spices on sourdough bread ☺️

@SatanBurger i love bluegill....just not much meat in the little buggers
SatanBurger · 36-40, F
@Notanymore Yeah they're tiny and only a treat if you have a restaurant around that serves bluegill. I visited such places in the past and the bluegill was always fresh caught which makes a tasty dinner. Surprisingly was filling. I had bluegill tacos once and some breaded bluegill for fish and chips.

OMG was delicious.

I would only really catch fish myself if they were a little bigger because bluegill are so small lol, it would be frustrating. Too bad because they are tasty.
Notanymore · 36-40, M
@SatanBurger i catch tons of bluegill. I rarely ever take them home with me though.

Crustaceans (which I love) technically aren't fish, so I'm going to go with 2 different fish, which we prepare differently.

Flounder
Salmon

I love pretty much any type of fish but if I had to chose just one it would be smoked haddock 🙂
Swordfish, when properly cooked.
Also, hamachi (yellowtail) in sushi.
