My boyfriend says he admires other women's beauty. This makes me feel hurt. Is it wrong to feel hurt??

I wish he had eyes only for me... Like I do for him...

Feelings aren't wrong nor right. It's what you do with them that can be either or a mixture of both.

@Miram i don't know what to do with them... I feel sad

@basicgirl12 Write it down. Show him. Go for him for comfort. Relationships are meant to help us outgrow our fears and learn about ourselves. Don't try to control him but also be brave and be yourself.

@Miram I appreciate your sound advice.
I have written it down and spoken about it in therapy ad nauseum.
I get that sex and love are not necessarily mutually inclusive. But i can't shake the feeling.

@basicgirl12 I'd be worried if he said he can't admire anyone else's beauty. And that statement isn't necessarily related to faithfulness. Unless there are other things make you doubt his loyalty? How did you two meet? Did he cheat before you?
basicgirl12 · 22-25, F
@Miram he cheated on the person he was with before me to be with me.
Which I didn't learn of until months into the relationship.

@basicgirl12

Then that's probably why you're taking it this way. It's reasonable to think he'd do so again and you should totally discuss that with him.

Lying to you and her wasn't okay.

@Miram it wasn't okay. He says he's changed though but ... Clearly I can't trust him
