Ignoring the feed algorithm that causes us so much angst and frustration, what would you like to see changed or added to SW?

Personalisation of profiles with colours and font types maybe?

More detailed settings ?

Group chats or annonymous posting?

Waddaya wanna see improved?

Change in the mindset of SW admins and moderators.

When I joined SW around 6 years back. There was term "Story" what they call it Post/Question/experience now. And there was no separate field for title and they used to fetch few initial words from the content of your main post to show it as title.

I pointed that out in my first post here. But you can see how the moderator, instead of accepting the issue, making excuses. And now they themselves has added that and made it mandatory.

@ABCDEF7 I remember the group being the title. That wouldn't work anymore with the number of groups being reduced so much though. Now only a few are used and there would be so many duplicate titles that hardly say anything. But posting did become more cumbersome with a title, body, group and mood indeed. That surely contributed to people posting less.

@NerdyPotato I suggested them to keep it optional. Will be good for those whose are willing to give some time to look it well categorized. Good for non frequent posters. And by making it optional, you can make it quick for frequent posters.

@ABCDEF7 and it was made optional after that suggestion. There was a setting for a while to automatically set the group and mood to "Random", but that was later silently removed. 🤔

@NerdyPotato I can't recall that the title being an optional field. May I didn't posted anything at that time.

@ABCDEF7 no, the title has always been mandatory. The body was and still is optional though, and the group and mood were optional for a while. So for a brief period after the introduction of all, you could post with filling out just one field.
