What can you do with left over steak?

I had great ambitions yesterday .
I was gonna cook up this bad boy and make a complete pig of myself.
Look at that baby, nearly 2 inches thick and won't fit on a dinner plate properly 🤩

Apparently however ...... stomachs have limits no matter how much you convince yourself otherwise.

I ploughed thru half of this, but what do I do with the other half ? I don't want to cook it any further and ruin it , so what does one do with cold steak ?

I can see the problem. Australia Post lost my invite in the mail. 🤣🥩
@KiwiBird I'll invite you when I perfect it.🤗
I'm still working out how to cook it ' just right'.

You'de think I know how to a good steak by now 🙄, but I've never really been into meat much.
I've been on this meat frenzy lately - harassing the butcher and picking his brain. He's trying to convert me to having it medium rare 🤢

@OogieBoogie Medium rare is about as cooked as I go....usually a lil rarer than that. With thick steak the trick is to get it to room temperature or even warmed through without cooking it before you start the actual cooking. A pilot light in a gas oven does the trick. Nothing worse than a rare steak cold in the middle.

I await the invite. Keep practising 😁😁😁😍
@KiwiBird this is the fine art I'm working on, that perfect time to take it out and sear the shit out of it.
I'm still over doing it a bit. 🫤

I will.
I'm kinda loving eating a nearly, if not all meat, meal - it seems to be easier on my system. Which is blowing me the fuck out as I always thought it was meat that was my problem .
Who knu eh 🤷

Till then☺️
