I Love to Write

[big]Words[/big]
The moment I get comfortable and let loose, is the moment I need to shut up.
Even though my sarcasm and amity come from a good place, it is sometimes overpowering.
When you speak with frankness your words echo. People forget your words, but they never forget how the words felt.
I believe in the worthiness of an honest moment. However, I must remember to temper my speech.
For in my experience one wrong word, spoken in jest, anger, or haste can destroy an entire relationship.

Honesty is important but words Some times must be chosen carefully. Its hard because sometimes the first instinct is to just say what's wrong with the other person. But because words can mean so much its hard to see the impact til its too late. Hopefully you can mend that fence or build the bridge as needed. No one is lost forever.

@Sorrowfulgaze I agree completely. A single word...can be a banner of peace..or it can be a flag of war. Spoken differently, or at a different time makes all the difference. Especially, if you're just trying to be right.

Tone is often lost especially in this information age. People can give their own tone to something you never intended as well.

Now, that's where the written word can save us from ourselves. Just saying you are angry...is much different in person....Smiles

That is true. In person tone and body language will say volumes.

Now, body language can put words in one's mouth.Laughing at her own mistakes
