She did not want to be loved
She had had it all before
She remembers how beautiful it was

No she has not put up walls
Just come to terms within herself
So she does not long to be loved anymore

She will let you get close
She will show you intimacy, passion
She will light a raging fire in your soul
But she will not allow you to love her
That is something she does not seek anymore

Some will take what she gives
Take it without a moment's thought
They will try to keep her
Try to figure her out
And try to hold her down
But she knows that this is not the place for her
