I resent much of the world for being passive and not doing enough to help other people.

There is too much selfishness. Many of the sacrifices I have made were out of necessity not obligation. If others stepped in to help, I wouldn't have hurt my well being to do so extending myself beyond my abilities.

I do resent much of the world for this.

To celebrate heroism is to many nothing but celebrating the comfort in believing someone else is doing what you should be doing yourself.

You carry so much weight on a daily basis. I know it doesn't go away. You offset it by helping others, and continue on with it with more meaning.

If most people lived through what you have, it would literally drive them crazy and make them a worse person. Whereas you took your experiences and turned them into a drive to do better.

It's beautiful and painful at once.

I look up to you and try to be like you every day.

I can say for sure that you've fostered a desire to help others in at least one person — me.

@SinlessOnslaught I am just bitter today. Sorry, I don't really mean to get people feeling any sense of guilt.
@Miram You didn't say anything wrong, Mimi. 🫂
