I think the thing is: " everyone is trying to be someone others expect, (or they, themselves expect or hope to be), and thus, are all caught in this wash and rinse cycle of regurgitating what others have previously said....in an attempt to do exactly the same thing.
We are losing our originality🫤
We are losing our originality🫤
@OogieBoogie I've felt that too . I think I became more of a characture of myself rather than seen as a person who has more then just jokes to offer...there are many sides to a person

@pituitarypendulum .
@ScreamingFox mentions stuff like this, and i totally agree.
I think, (and this'll prolly sound vain and pretentious but), some of us get sick of it. We reach our limit. We can't keep up the act....it gets... exhausting.
We are just aware enoug to look at ourselves and go : wotdafuq am i doing ?
...And for what?
Fake praise?
Pandering?
People agreeing with you coz they didnt think of it first?😅
Ugh....it becomes draining.
I dont mind a bit of randomness now and then.....but its not an identity. Not ONE PERSON is externally funny....or forever sexy or whatever singular identity they choose.
Its like people find a 'persona' that draws people in - and then they get addicted to it.
Its really quite horrifying to watch: How we will willingly change and edit ourselves for attention🫤
