I have a friend who always complain about his bf but never listen to our advice

I feel so drained today because I just had panic attacks, but I feel bad for not entertaining her.
It's not your job to entertain her. But you are nice so you did it. You deserve a peaceful time. I had rough day at work because I had to do almost everything and my colleagues denied to do any work but I kept my patience. I don't want to let people drain me.

@littlepuppywantanewlife yes. May be I'll let her tensions loose, then I'll talk to her
@sugarpie Best thing to ease a friend is to either feed them something nice or show them a good entertainment. ☺️

Some people just want to complain but don’t want solutions.

@deadteddy imagine they've been together for almost 5 years, and we're like thos for almost 5 years too 🥹 I'll try to talk to her later when she calmed down

@sugarpie Yes but don’t beat yourself up. She’s an adult I assume , and it’s not your fault. She makes her own decisions no matter what you tell her.

Sounds to me like possibly he just needs to vent a bit but not really looking for people to give him answers. This is something good friends can do for each other. He may already know he needs to figure it out for himself. It's always nice to have a friend that will just listen to our venting but not offer advice all the time. Sometimes it takes a very patient soul to this for someone else. I don't think it's about entertaining at all... (imho)

You have 0 reason to feel guilty. This may sound callous, but in my experience the greatest harm comes from the best intentions. Coddling someone is far more harmful than letting them take care of themselves. You did the right thing.

You gotta be there for yourself first. Please
