Nonconforming love 💕 — Why don’t you feel love towards someone who doesn’t look like you?

Not everyone is made the same…we all have our pros and cons.

Forming opinions of people just from their looks, or the way they walk and talk is always based on fears and assumptions.

Try to overcome that fear by looking at the good inside people.

I hope you try to work on that judgemental thang this year…

Coz otherwise you’ll never be not miserable in your heart ❤️

Just saying…🤷🏻‍♀️

Wishing you a less opinionated year…😊✨💕✌️

And for those of you going through difficult times….personal or professional…. I pray you find hope, strength and comfort in the thought that this too shall pass. ✨🤗

Put your best foot forward and don’t let the negativity of others get to you…know that you are loved and blessed. ❤️

Not only is operating on bias potentially harmful to the 'other', it's harmful to me as well.

I wonder how far along this world might be if the talent, vision, intelligence, and hard work of everyone was valued equally.
True….often it leaves a person jealous, hateful and miserable. It’s so obvious in workplaces especially in team meetings….I wonder how far their bias will take them.

I’m grateful for my strict parents who taught us to be respectful of others no matter their profession or sexual orientation. So I struggle when other’s don’t have the same values…and wish we could correct or teach them some manners/basic human decency. @Mamapolo2016

@Vivaci Exactly.

Due to my (now) semi-bizarre childhood as a preacher's kid in a (visibly at least) white, straight, Christianity-professing community, and parents who did not emphasize either doctrine or politics but encouraged the "love your neighbor as yourself" view of things - I never developed pre-conceived opinions of people.

When I went away to college, EVERYBODY was weird and wonderful to me. Like a zoo.

They still are. Different, yes, but each with different things to contribute.
@Mamapolo2016 This is why we love you, Mama…😇

Sadly, it’s very common in workplaces especially…groupism, ganging up against the ‘odd’ one, and purposely criticizing them as though they have a God-given duty to harass the queer. I hope she(she wants to be called ‘it’) doesn’t quit her job because of office politics.

@Vivaci So sad.
@Mamapolo2016 Yeah…I can’t do anything but watch…it kills me that this so called ‘seasoned group’ have such an entitled setting in the company…wonder who hired them POS’s. 😒

@Vivaci People of like mind.

I know how you feel - once I appointed the absolute best person to a position - and they drove her out. I never saw it coming.
