Is it normal to feel super depressed like this?

So, every year without fail I've sent relatives birthday cards with a £20 Amazon voucher. They send me a card, sometimes a text messages saying happy birthday. Well, yesterday was my birthday. Not a single phone call, a text or even a card. Not even a many wishes on Facebook. So, it didn't bother me till late this evening and my mind just goes "It's official, no one gives a shit about you" and I just been feeling pretty low since then
