I Want to Write a Book
I lose myself in stories all the time. In truth, it's almost as if I have an addiction to stories. Escaping to a different world, whether through a tv show or a book is something I have always found hard to tear away from. I used to bring my books to school to read and spent pretty much every lesson reading. I barely even knew what class it was. Its a miracle that I managed to socialise despite that. (I pride myself on being a sociable bookworm)
When I was 13 I decided that I want to write a book, and hence I graduated from reading in class to writing in class. I only stopped occasionally to have my friends share their notes with me 30 minutes before a test. By the end of the year I'd handwritten half a book. I gave up on that though, the work of 13 year old me was almost impossible to save. A lot of my friends were pretty invested in my book, which was pretty awesome.
I still kept that passion for creating and channeled it into theatre. I started a plan for a book again two years ago. It's a fantasy book, I'm kinda looking forward to writing it out and getting it finished. I would say I have a talent for creating stories that hold classic storylines that grab people in, with just the right twist to make it different and unpredictable. I hope one day I'll be able to publish it.
