It can be. Organize your thoughts, an outline is your friend. Figure out what you want the message to be, and who your intended audience is meant to be. Do research on the setting and the professions and anything else you want to include so that your presentation is entertaining and accurate to the genre. From there, do your market research and double check on what kind of literary agent or publisher you're trying to get in with. I recommend looking up resources on getting published when it gets to that point. First order of business is to get your story together and started if not completed before you start looking around for publishers.

To do what?
Build an outline by starting with your ideas on what you want your story to become. Literally just brainstorm, then put the pieces together in the order you want. I'd start there.

@Angeldust Hours a day is really a lot. Try giving it 15 minutes a day. See what you can do with that. What kind of book do you want to write? Fiction or non-fiction? For what kind of readers?
LyricalOne · F
If you have to ask, you might want to stick to pamphlets.

No. Think of it this way: If you write one page a day, in about a year you will have written a book.
Nowadays there is so much information about books and writing on the Internet that you should be able to get a lot of ideas there. Let me know if I can help. I taught various writing classes over a 25 year period; I'm retired now.
What kind of book have you thought about writing?

Hard and especially time-consuming. I spent about a year on the last draft of mine alone.
Angeldust · 26-30, F
@ScrewThisImDone What's it called anyway
ScrewThisImDone · 26-30, F
@Angeldust It's called Backstabber, I've been working on it on and off since high school.

Writing a good book is hard. It’s easy to begin but hard to complete. You can do it if it matters enough to you. Good luck.

That people will read and you can get published? Yes, consider how many people are in the world and how few are authors
IWasCallingYaLarry · 26-30, M
