Just wondering what people think about this?

I rang my dentist, as I'd made an online appointment and they rang me back to pay a deposit for it,( not sure why the don't have the facility to pay that online) ... The receptionist rang to tell me this, but I was in the car and didn't have my card number to hand, so I said I'd call her back, which I did... She answers the call and is clearly talking to me on speakerphone and she's clearly not even in the jurisdiction of the phone as she can't hear me and thought I was someone called Nicole..

Do you think this is rude for a business receptionist to answer customer calls on speakerphone?

Oh yeah and when she originally called me, she had me on speakerphone then too

Not just rude but compromising to your confidentiality, both medically and financially. You don't want to be giving out your card number to the listening public. I would definitely challenge that.
@FreddieUK I did, she hung up on me and when I tried to call back she wouldn't answer me
@AbsolutelyFabulous id report that.
They are allowed to hang up on abusive calls....but not just cut you off like that.
