...............

I need to write today. I'm not sure if I'll still feel motivated later though...

For the past couple days, an intrusive thought keeps popping into my head, "What's the point of writing? I'll never get a literary agent. You're gonna spend your whole life chasing a stupid, impossible dream."

I won't give up. Like, I know I'll never stop writing. But why even work so hard on these drafts anymore? Nothing will come of them.

* And I'm not looking to self-publish. I might next year if I cannot find an agent for this particular story.

A tip intended to be helpful.

Choose to write for 10 minutes. That's it. Pick a time and say that you're going to write from, oh, 3 p.m. to 3:10 p.m., or whatever.

If you go over the 10 minutes, that's fine. But you only have to do 10 minutes.

@DunningKruger Thank you, I'll give that a try :) It sounds helpful.
