β β π Morning Reflection β π β
βDo not let a day pass without doing some good in it.β β St. Philip Neri
This quote spoke to me this morning. So often, we move through our days on autopilot , busy, distracted, weighed down by our own worries.
But goodness isnβt always about grand gestures or perfect timing. Itβs about presence. Itβs about remembering that even the smallest act done with love can ripple far beyond what we see.
Tonight, Iβll be cooking dinner at the local childrenβs shelter. Itβs something I try to do once a month, but life has gotten in the way lately. Still, today, no matter what else is happening, Iβm making space to show up. Thereβs something healing about giving , about setting aside our own chaos to simply be there for someone else.
Every time I go, Iβm reminded that the act of giving nourishes the soul just as much as the meal feeds the body.
It doesnβt have to be perfect. It doesnβt have to be big. Sometimes, doing good looks like listening without judgment, offering a smile, saying a kind word, or showing up for someone who feels forgotten.
What are some ways you find to show up for others , even in small, quiet ways?
