The output can be puzzling as both do not know how things are going to develop.

I just write down what I dream would happen with nothing held back but evocative adjectives and adverbs and they seem to love it. Its not the detail of the act, its the detail of your emotion and you partners reaction that seems to be most rewarding when you write it and to your reader, so you've just got to mean it.

It is a talent. You can escape in the words for a few minutes.
