When i was writing more i tended to ise whatever was on hand, phone notes app, small notebook. Etc. All my writing tended to come from a seed of some kind, songs were a line, sentiment or hook.
Poems were generally the end line and id work backwards, stories were more oftan than not similar by knowing how it'd end and the writing process was like a flashback....though ive also used dice to pick a narrative direction (stolen from DnD) 6 options and roll, let fate decide the direction. Though those tend to be more writing exercise type things....yet they've led to their own seeds

I honestly do it on paper first cos writing it down helps me ..make it clearer.

I find the writing is better if i just wing it. If i try to plan or edit it seems to lose something . It's like the words come through me instead of from me . The firtst draft is always the best,
I really only wrote song lyrics, wasn't very good at it but I would like to pick it back up again someday.

My outlines looked like the song structure (verse, chorus, bridge, etc.) with the title at the top and a list of questions that the title evoked.

The lyrics would just be rhyming answers to those questions.

I didn't come up with that scheme myself, it was taught to me.

I am a pantser too. The only outline I ever have is a table that scrolls at the bottom that has my characters and notes about them. I add them as they come into the story. Other than that I just go with whatever comes along.

Best of luck with your writings

I've wanted to write a novel. But have always sucked at outlining. So I usually get writers block after the first 6 chapters.
The only time I managed it was on an old computer that crashed and I didn't back up my work.

I don't have an outline. I usually picture the ending and write to take me there. Most changes or edits I make are simple onesand are done as I go along.

Don't use them really.

I don't use an outline I think it shows in my writing.

I've actually never done an outline. I tend to write the book in my mind going over and over the details until I'm happy. Then I type it into the computer.
