How do you get a dog involved with a thriller novel
My editor says I need to involve him somehow in the story or get rid of him and I have no idea how. God this is so bloody stressful. 😩

A dog that can develop rabies, attacks certain victims, but can revert to the perfect family dog, and nomine at present can identify the animal.
Maybe he's a dog that barks at his own shadow and the more important characters just ignore him out of habit???
