dead motivation

I have this story idea that I have been writing for a year at this point, I have the plot written and started to written some chapters. I wish I was able to stay focused for long periods of time. I mean it's fun to do, not a career path.

So I suppose I'll ask how to keep focusing on writing? :D

It's really a matter of discipline (commitment), time management (prioritizing), and routine (doing "it" even when you don't feel like it). What that means in practical terms is, acknowledging there are some days you won't feel like doing it. So, on those days... even if there are many days like that, put in a set minimum of time (for example, 10 minutes... or 5 minutes even) even if you are just looking at a blank screen or page. Every day.
