i went to the doctor once with what i thought was a chemical burn on my hand
turned out it was an infection caused by the paint stripper i was using
after that i felt different about giving advise
i generally tell people to see a doctor or phone a helpline like we have here in the uk
but if it definitely sounds like something very minor i may advise cause you dont want doctors and hospitals wasting their time
