Why Stephen King deserves the Nobel Price for Literature

1) Bob Dylan got one and Stephen told us: "People complaining about his Nobel either don’t understand or it’s just a plain old case of sour grapes";

2) Carrie, The Shining, It, etc. (many more novels to come, I hope);

3) Sold more than 350 million copies; so in theory it's one out 20 human beings (yes, that includes todlers and all illliterate people of which there are still about 20 to 30% in some parts of the world) owning a book of his;

4) It would give him a boost of atleast another decade of writing;

5) He'd give the entirety of the prize money away to charity.

When in an interview, he was asked "do you consider your work art?"
his reply was a laugh "My work? is the literary equivalent of a Big Mac"

He's a hack and a moonbat. I liked some of his early works but he's gotten very tedious in the last 3 decades
I like Stephen King, and I've read the whole 'Dark Tower' series as well as several other books. Stephen King is a greatt entertainer. But no, I don't consider him Nobel material.

Bob Dylan changed the way people wrote popular songs. Dylan writes about deep emotional issues that are almost impossible to put in words, and he puts them in common vernacular that everyone can understand. Poetry is an art form usually confined to ivory towers and specialized study. Dylan brought high art poetry to the masses and paved the way for other artists to do the same.

I like Stephen King but he isn't Nobel material the way Dylan is.
Stephan king of the woksters..
