I know this feeling all too well.... it's hard to get rid of it, but possible... is a process that takes time and above all: self-love and mindful treatment of yourself. I can assure you that you were and are always enough for me... a wonderful person and a great friend with a big loving heart 🤗 💙

This is why I always try to push myself beyond what I'm physically capable of.
If you teach your child that they just aren't good enough from a young enough age... eventually you end up with a goal driven adult who will achieve whatever is asked of them - even to the point where the consequences could be fatal.

@HootyTheNightOwl not always, some times people who think they will never be good enough develop a "what's the point of trying" attitude so they just give up and they teach themselves to put up with whatever crap life throws at them. The fear of failure is too painful so they set their standards low.

@SW-User yes its quite hard and i felt that enumours times of my life.
@SW-User That's why I said "I"... I am aware that it can go either way - and I can only speak for myself and my own experiences in life.

I imagine very many people suffer from this. It is a downward spiral....

@Angelbrat Many look to be rescued too. They have no spine. They are lazy. Boring. Undesirables.
