Sweetie... If I could stop being dyslexic, I would have knocked that shit off years ago when the teachers kept making me write out my colours - because I couldn't remember that "White" has a silent "H" in it.

@Ducky I've been dyslexic my whole life, just like my "dad" before me. I've never really looked into it and how it affects me before... but it's still visible in how I write - which I learned is affected by dyslexia and is the only thing they picked up on when they rejected my application.

Needless to say, I'm not applying again.

@NerdyPotato I think it's more ignorance than ableism... they haven't bothered to learn how dyslexia affects your writing style. It's not just the obvious typos - like you can't spell some words correctly, even if that is the most obvious symptom.
