@ShadowWolf haha https://www.statista.com/statistics/262742/countries-with-the-highest-military-spending/#:~:text=Worldwide%20leaders%20in%20military%20spending,dollars%20dedicated%20to%20the%20military.

@Loopysoutherner And the rest of the world would be a sitting duck if China or Korea attacked them. Or Russia. That's why we are helping Ukraine more than you dum dums who demilitarized after the second world war. Germany couldnt even get out of it's own way. Europe is WEAK. The only reason you idoits have any security, is beause we are in NATO. imagine if US pulled out of NATO hahaha
Loopysoutherner · 56-60, F
@ShadowWolf haha the reason anyone attacks you is because of blowback of american attacks
Loopysoutherner · 56-60, F
@ShadowWolf Germany has the biggest economy in Europe. Cuba has a better literacy rate than America and same life expectancy
ShadowWolf · 31-35, M
@Loopysoutherner Lol that's what your European leftist governments tell you to keep you all weak. My my what's wrong with the British Royal Navy nowdays? Oh that's right, it's much weaker than the US's. How about the Air force? Welp that too. Where is the mighty Germany now? Oh, scared of it's own Nazi shadow. France is a far cry away from Napolean and Louis. Please. Weakness is a disease.
ShadowWolf · 31-35, M
@Loopysoutherner Biggest economy matters not if all your citizens are taxed to death.
Loopysoutherner · 56-60, F
@ShadowWolf you mental? The uk has been under a right wing government for about 12 years and kisses americas arse all the time. Germany barely gets mentioned by the government at all. France is another successful European country. Taxes helps the economy keep going. One of Germany biggest parties is a socialist party. Nazism hasn't been a major thing since 1945
ShadowWolf · 31-35, M
@Loopysoutherner Right wing is relative. A right winger in the UK, is a leftist in the US. What I meant by Germany, is that is got so scared of it's own past of causing WW1 and WW2, that it completely demilitarized. They are ashamed of their past of Nazisim, so they've swung to the opposite direction of socialism, which is taxing them all to death.
Loopysoutherner · 56-60, F
@ShadowWolf so you think nazism should be something to be proud of? Whys that?
Loopysoutherner · 56-60, F
@ShadowWolf Germany has progressive income tax so you only have to pay tax that you can afford and goes up when your wages go up
ShadowWolf · 31-35, M
@Loopysoutherner
so you think nazism should be something to be proud of? Whys that?
Never said that. But what I am saying is that because of Germanys fear of it, they made a hard switch to another form of oppression. Germany was better off under Kaiser Wilheim.
Loopysoutherner · 56-60, F
@ShadowWolf you consider progressive income tax "repression"? If they so oprressed then why were a neo nazi group in germany stopped by anti nazis in a recent rally?

@ShadowWolf pre world War 2 the biggest party in germany was the social democratic party which had its roots in Marxism
ShadowWolf · 31-35, M
@Loopysoutherner Pre World war 2 Germany was an absolute monarchy. So i call bullshit.
Loopysoutherner · 56-60, F
@ShadowWolf he is also held responsible as one of the reasons world War 1 happened
Loopysoutherner · 56-60, F
@ShadowWolf the monarchy was abolished shortly after ww1 and ww2 didn't start till June 1940
ShadowWolf · 31-35, M
@Loopysoutherner I suppose I meant pre WW1/WW1/Post WW1. Which is what I meant by pre WW2. And Germany was in such rough shape post WW1 and rejected the socialists. Anyways, I am talking about the Kaiser. And how Germany was better under a Kaiser than any time in history.
Loopysoutherner · 56-60, F
@ShadowWolf kaiser who some consider one of the reasons ww1 was started which also lead to the abolishment of the monarchy the same year the war ended. Again it has the biggest economy in Europe and progressive income tax and good work ethic
ShadowWolf · 31-35, M
@Loopysoutherner We all know the reason WW1 was started. Archduke Ferdinand. And.. everyone is taxed to death. You keep skirting around that. I have talked to people, in Germany, and they told me just how bad the taxes are due to the socialist policies.
Loopysoutherner · 56-60, F
@ShadowWolf how's progressive income tax being "taxed to Death"? Never heard so much nonsense.
ShadowWolf · 31-35, M
@Loopysoutherner Income tax, is but one tax. There are many types of tax, and socialist countries tax their "proletariat" to death. You trade a King, for a big bureaucratic all consuming government. What is the difference? None.
Loopysoutherner · 56-60, F
@ShadowWolf you absolutely crazy? A country has only one way of taxing at a time and Germanys is income tax and that alone. Nothing trapping about that as the working class pay the tax that they can afford in accordance to how much they earn which only ever goes up when they start earning more money. In feaudalsim times people had even less freedom and had lands owned by the royals so unfortunately for you it's not the same in the slightest. Workers in Germany have far more rights and leisure time than any one under King's such as kaiser will helm had
ShadowWolf · 31-35, M
@Loopysoutherner https://www.oecd.org/tax/tax-policy/taxing-wages-germany.pdf Germany has one of the highest tax rates period. That does not include all hidden taxes. And also do a simple google search, ask some germans, they are for sure overtaxed. There are certainly other taxes. Land tax, petrol(gas) tax, property tax, etc etc. Income tax is only one type. How dense are you?
Loopysoutherner · 56-60, F
@ShadowWolf and again leads to Germanys economy being the biggest in Europe.

ShadowWolf · 31-35, M
@Loopysoutherner And AGAIN being the biggest economy on a continent means nothing if you are taxing your citizens to death. If your citizens can't enjoy much beyond the basics of life, what's the point?
