Doesn't your local Lion's club or American Legion put on a pancake breakfast on occasion, or is this just an upper Midwestern thing?

@Starcrossed The huge 50 foot long griddle with the pour dispenser on wheels? I remember a guy doing that here in iowa during the 80's.
