I like slow mornings but got up and watered the figs and the honeysuckle plants and filled up the bird bath with fresh water. A male cardinal watched me do it and flew down to fence and then flew to the Rose of Sharon tree and chirped and then kept getting closer. I didn’t know if any birds has used it since it’s a plastic bird bath, I think they prefer concrete. But apparently this one has, he seemed happy. I also fed the feral cats, filled up the bird feeder with sunflower seeds and animal crackers and a halved apple for the squirrels. Went out to refill the cat’s water dish and here comes Rhubarb wanting more soft food so I made him some scrambled eggs. Ate breakfast and am doing laundry.
It’s so hot now that anything that needs to be done outdoors should be done as soon as possible after the sun comes up. By 10 it’s starting to get miserable.
I think the turmeric and bromelain that my rheumatologist recommended is helping with my arthritis, I feel like doing more in early morning as long as it is gentle and not rushed.
