Same. It was giving me neck pain since my neck wound up kinda twisted during sleep. Then…. I took a big fat hardcover college text book 📚 or two and lol started sleeping on them. No more neck pain cause somehow sleeping like that keeps my neck straight all night long. Since then I like sleeping on ….um… big books lol

I used to
But when i moved out i treated myself to two good pillows: a duck down one, and a latex one.
And never had a problem since .
I think bedding is one of those things you initially think "oh anything will do' .
But over the years ive slowly upgraded my sheets, doona and pillows ... and its made such a difference.
And now i dont need to buy any more.
Quality bedding doesnt wear out, go flat, get pilly or such .

I get alternative to down and they do pretty well. I try not to buy those cheap ones because they don't last but a few days.
Bean pillows. They were popular for a time when I was a kid, but then they switched it to inorganic pellets (likely because of sweat + bean = sprout).

I'm fussy with pillows, after 6 months i do the 1 finger test and if it droops too much i replace it.😁

Yes and wake up with sore neck
It seems like you have to pay $100 for a halfway decent one.
