@SW-User We both make the aesthetic choices, but really my wife is the boss. Luckily we have very similar tastes!

@JimboSaturn Happens that way often. I think for good reason. 😉 Funny every partner I've been with, only two and both long term, our artistic and aesthetic choices matched. I expect it's a key ingredient.

@SW-User Yes I think it could have been a real problem is she liked things very differently. I never really needed a man cave because I'm comfortable in all my house.

@JimboSaturn How can I address this shortly and briefly.... Let me figure out. My second partner, we always lived in apartments together. She was my muse, with very similar tastes in art/poetry/appreciation in love of emotions... my first partner, we had some of those parts together, but she was quieter, more spoken in her artistic choices.... both matched for me in shared love. My first partner might have supported a man cave, but we'd never of have asked for one, as if we were lost in cinema we'd find ourselves ending the movie ourselves in our arms...

My second partner, loved music almost as much as me, so that little investment in affordable hifi stereo speakers... accentuated music, accentuated conversation which led to ......

I think it's healthy to have a home where both want to explore and be involved...
