@bijouxbroussard I think for the majority of the privileged it is because they think increasing equality is done by taking away from them rather than extending to others. And a lot of that is because the actual oppressors make sure that narrative is constantly put in front of them.
Yet, there are still people that need to be better than others. People where if we could create a world where everyone had a personal mansion at no negative impact to the planet, they wouldn't want it because a mansion only has value if it's rare. It's honestly such an odd mindset to me.
