If you could buy a house anywhere, would you buy close to town so you can get groceries easier, but then you have neighbours all the time and limited privacy, or would you move further out so you have limited neighbours, but then have to drive further to get groceries?

I’m about eight miles outside of town. On a fairly sizable tract of property. Still with limited neighbors. That’s close enough for me.
