Why do people care what some wears or don’t wear?

I went shopping at wal mart today barefoot which I love going barefoot In public.. I really love when people are put off when they see im barefoot.

Podophobia is rampant in the US, and possibly in other countries also. (I can only vouch for Greece--very podophobic too.) In extreme cases, victims can't stand to look at their own feet! Some actually require medication. And let us not forget the definition of phobia--an abnormal fear or hatred. Hating feet is abnormal.
