I hate shoes, and I hate socks even worse

Before I started going barefoot 24/7, my feet would get so hot and uncomfortable that I would take my shoes and socks off in public. It felt so amazing to feel my bare feet air out! I loved that feeling of the air rushing between my toes! 😌👣😌👣😌👣. Wiggling my toes and wrinkling my soles felt so good. I love being barefoot so much you have no idea. I would even go barefoot the rest of the day, completely forget about my shoes and socks, and get my feet super filthy. Barefoot is the best

I hate stepping on sharp things and injuring my feet…. Shoes are good about preventing that

@cherokeepatti I've gone barefoot so much that my feet have gotten tough enough to handle it

@BarefootLeilani you don’t know because there can be residue there. My sisters and I refused to wear shoes on the farm during warm weather. We all ended up with parasites as a result and had to be treated for it by a doctor. Tiny worm eggs penetrated the skin on our feet and hatched inside our bodies

@cherokeepatti Is that so?

@cherokeepatti Well I'm sorry that happened to you guys but I've never had that issue

@BarefootLeilani parasites are way more common than we know and that is one way of getting them

@cherokeepatti If you end up with hookworm or other parasites, it was probably because the feces came from an infected animal. If a barefooter somehow does end up stepping on dog feces, best thing to do is pour water on your sole and scrape your foot against the grass or sidewalk. We barefooters also scrub our feet with soap and water whenever we take a shower.

@BarefootLeilani An important thing to remember is that you will find many of these parasites in less developed countries, especially the ones with bad sanitary systems.

@Barefooter25 it could have been a tiny bit not even noticeable.
