What's the most adventurous thing you've ever done?

Have you ever stepped outside of your comfort zone and done something daring or adventurous? Maybe it was skydiving, bungee jumping, or traveling to a remote location. What was the experience like, and what did you learn from it?

I spent a couple of months last summer touring England, I left all my male clothes behind and dressed pretty all day every day.

What I learned was that all my fears of people's reactions were unfounded. I was treated with courtesy everywhere I went, and on a few occasions complimented by strangers passing in the street!
