Have you canoed or used some time of small boat type on a raging rivers?

@popmol Yeah.........I have hunted Alaska 6 times...30 days each. I go with just one other guy, We float/hunt for moose and caribou and bear........using the inflatable to hunt out of as we float the rivers. Usually we float/travel about 115--130 miles of river in 14 days.

@anythingoes477 you hunted the whole of alaska 6 times? it only took 30 days to hunt everything there?

@popmol I hunted for moose and bear (primarily) out of a inflatable for 15 of the 30 days. I hnt only the rivers for this hunt. Different one each trip I go on. Then back to Anchorage to drop off meat in cold storage and get more groceries, etc. Then I fly out out each time to King Salmon Alaska for the last 15 days..............caribou hunting, fishing and a bear if one comes along.......out of a drop camp. So that is is a walking hunt. So no way to hunt ALL of Alaska.

@popmol They kick like a mule. VERY cool rifle though. 30-06 caliber.........VETY accurate even with iron sights up to 200 yards.
