Ever regret becoming a homeowner?

Sometimes I just want to go back to leasing a different place every year. I’ve lived all over the place by doing that but as I approached my 40’s I thought it was time to get some stability and buy a house. It’s been cool in its own way but I’m starting to miss the freedom

No because now every dollar goes to increasing my equity and paying off my own house, instead of paying off something belonging to someone else.

Additionally, as the mortgage is slowly paid off, the finances available to my children after I die increases.
