41 Days Clean
I just showered, used my new conditioner. Now I'm having a cup of tea, ramen noodles, and reflecting on the day in my journal. I just did some Tradition One questions. I try to do at least two every single day. I have a new sponsor now, someone who is also trans and queer.
My birthday is next Wednesday, I'll be 27. And clean. This will be my first birthday in years where I won't be getting fucked up. That's a little exciting. Maybe I'll remember it.
Tomorrow morning we're going to city hall to get my name officially changed. I'm waiting on my therapist's letter of approval for top surgery and then I'll have my two letters and get to call surgeons for consults. Things are really coming together. I have my medication and NA to thank for that. And the effort I put in everyday to be the best I can be. Honest, open minded, willing, and clean.
