@SW-User Oh the place is still there, not far from me.
I used to live in a house from 1810, and one day a guy from the neighborhood came by with a metal detector, cuz we were looking for my daughters lost ring and it was so much fun finding little treasures around the yard and to reminisce about the people who lived there and what the kids did when they were outside in those days and we found a little toy antique metal tractor, which was a lot of fun to see. In the pantry room , it look like it was a cabinet but when you open it up it was a brick fireplace at one time, so that was really fun to find. And I found out the place used to be a funeral home at one time and then a bar right on the corner there, another time. I bet there were a lot of old coins on that ground but I never got a chance to find out, but we did find some old high-topped ladies boots inside a little small doorway in one of the bedrooms and that was really interesting, because their feet were so small in those days and those people were short as well and they didn't live very long. That was a lot of fun to find those. And we had one of those wonderful deep clawed foot bathtubs. That was so nice to soak in. I would love to go look around and abandoned houses and barns. Haha and to see what you can find floating on the shores of the Missouri River. And I absolutely love finding beautiful rocks. And unique pieces at thrift shops.
