Phone Scammer Called & Said Someone Charged $980.00 For an I-Phone To My Amazon Card…
I let him go through his spiel, he gives me a web address to type into my browser and asks if I did it. I played with my keyboard and told him yes. He asked me to repeat back what he told me to type. I told him WWW.Amazon. Com and he said “no it was not that” and tells me something else. I told him if he could speak better English I would have understood him the first time and I don’t trust phone scammers. He cussed me a blue streak and I laughed at him.
I had one of those Car Warranty Scammers call me once. He told me that my warranty was about to expire. I played along. He then asked me what type of car I had (he should have known since he said my warranty was about to expire). I told him Volkswagen. He asked what Model. I told him Beetle. He then asked me what trim level. I told him it was a basic model. He then asked me what size engine. I said 1600cc. The he asked what type of transmission. I said 4 speed. He then explained what was covered. Then he asked me what year I had. I then told him that I had a 1971. He went ballistic and told me I was wasting his time and hung up.
@Thinkerbell Oh yeah I told him he should have chosen a better school to go to than a Scam School. He could make real money that way if he’d been an engineer, a teacher or someone useful in life.
@MrBrownstone I missed a great opportunity to tell him “That’s how you get Monkeypox” after he got angry and started cussing me. Guess what he said? 😂😖. (Maybe I’ll work “Monkeypox” into the conversation with the next phone scammer)
@Adrift the scammer tried mocking everything I said after I told him he needed to learn to speak English better if he was going to scam Americans. I just laughed.
@CheekyBadger I was sitting down and not doing anything anyway. I could have pretended something happened and took more of his sweet precious time had I been a bit more patient.
I hate these people. I received a message that they charged x$ fir the service I ordered, and if I wanted to cancel, I should call a number they gave. I didn’t order anything, and they never mentioned a method of payment, so after I checked my accounts, I deleted. They just want you to call or log onto some scam address and probably hack your device.
I had one on whats app I took a screenshot the first time when they tried it again I posted it and I said you tried this before under the same picture, they just laughed lol
@Justenjoyit they’ve tried the Amazon scam on me dozens of times. Now it’s Comcast, We’re going to reimburse you $50 a month on your electric bills, Medicaid Supplement Insurance, and other things. They are coming up with new scams every week it seems.
