Been around a few in my day and the stories they tell do tend to overlap a bit.
You could start with asking if they have ever pulled a groin muscle.
So like ... "Ever pull a groin muscle??"
Answer: Yes.
Response: Yours or someone you knew from class??
But seriously self inflicted weapons wounds tend to be pretty humorous.
Third Dan goes to the hospital with a hug gash in his side.
The nurse asks what happened and he says it was done with a Kama.
The nurse calls the cops and says he was in a knife fight and got cut.
Cops show up, still in ER and want the story.
Now he has to explain he teaches martial arts and the Kama he was using he had sharpened because he thought that would be cool and now regrets the decision. LOL
I guess the cops had a bit of fun for the next several minutes at his expense even to the degree of questioning the schools testing abilities. LOL
