easily could make it last a month if not more

@Torsten I believe I could too. There was a time in my younger life I could have set some aside and saved it. Seriously learned to make what some would call “poverty meals” that were nutritious and tasty and relied on those when I didn’t have a lot of money.

@cherokeepatti best to try and do that anyway with money. Never know when things could get tough financially. Its best to know how to live on a shoestring budget

@Torsten This one doesn’t care. She thinks money grows on trees. Things are getting critical with inflation and could get a whole lot worse by the end of the summer with food prices and other essentials increasing in prices. Lives like she is wealthy and expects someone else to foot the bill for her.

@cherokeepatti she sounds like she is in for a big shock soon enough in that case

@Torsten The whole thing reminds me of the tale of the Worker Ant and the Grasshopper. The grasshopper wants everyone to feed it while the worker ant is storing up food. When winter comes the ant has food and the grasshopper is starving.

@cherokeepatti that is a good analogy for this
