@TexChik college student, can blow through $1000 a month and get overdrawn several times a week. Not to mention getting $6000 grant money per semester and some other things this year (stimulus money etc.)

@cherokeepatti in college I had 2 scholarships, I made sure I got all the value from them , but I had money in the bank from the sale of my biologic parents farm after they were arrested when I got away from there . They invested it for me . I never touched it , or needed to . I wanted to buy my car but they wouldn’t hear of it . Daddy got me a 6 year old car . He told me to make all the mistakes with that one so that when I got a new one I would be ready. 🤷🏻‍♀️

@TexChik You were level-headed with money. I don’t see how someone who fritters through so much money in college can have a successful life after graduation. Expecting others to provide for her, she wouldn’t be able to save up money for anything at that rate.
