@MarineBob Like I told someone, when I was that age & my ex not working or frittering money away I was too proud to even ask relatives for $ to buy a loaf of bread. It motivated me to have a garden, to buy on sale, to cook things at home, etc. Not everyone can garden but they can learn to be frugal and learn to start out making simple meals that don’t cost much.
