I honestly think “peace” in their mind and heart. You really can’t put a price tag on peace.
Elanor · F
I concur 💜💕@NoGamesTolerated

@NoGamesTolerated So true. Depending on where your peace is rooted it cannot be taken away.
@karysma 🙂 ty for best comment.

Happiness. Everyone wants happiness.

THose who seek money want it to make them happy or less unhappy.

Those who seek love in a companion want it to make them happy or less unhappy.

Those who seek fame want it to make them happy or less unhappy.

Those who do drugs want them to make them happy or less unhappy.

Those who seek sex want it to make them happy or less unhappy.

We want happiness.
karysma · 31-35, F
@Nelladell Yet all the seeking for happiness in things we see is futile.
Carissimi · 70-79, F
I don’t equate aiming higher with happiness, but then each to their own. You make it sound like those who suffer brought it on themselves. @Nelladell
Carissimi · 70-79, F
@Elevatorpitches Like I said to Nell, I don’t equate values or aiming higher to happiness. My values are sound, in my opinion, but it has nothing to do with my happiness. I am not happy. I am grateful, but far from happy, and I consider myself a person of integrity.

@karysma well said!
karysma · 31-35, F
@DeluxedEdition I personally found value in my life when I met Jesus. I've never experienced love in such a deep way. I get emotional just thinking about it.
DeluxedEdition · 26-30, F
@karysma same 🫂 thanks for sharing this made my heart happy
That thing they dropped between the cushions on the sofa. 😑 it’s never as easy as you
Hope it to be

I would have to say what the world says. The world says you should be born, eat, drink, go to school, get a 9-to-5 job, get married, have children, retire, die. There are so many alternatives to this... (apart from the first 3 and the last one!)
karysma · 31-35, F
@SW-User I completely agree with you on that. I for one only feel the need to marry and have kids when I see a happy looking couple when in fact I'm happier by myself.
SW-User
@karysma Well good for you :) I think we're similar. Never let people dictate what you should do. Also, when I have kids, I'm thinking of homeschooling them. The law is that you get an education, not go to school. There is a whole world out there that my kids can learn in.
karysma · 31-35, F
@NoGamesTolerated So very true. I want to be like Paul who said he knew lack and abundance and was still happy because he had God but not so much the process 😅
@karysma That’s it Kary!! That’s true happiness.
@NoGamesTolerated happiness and joy of the soul are not as the world sees happiness… but whatever happens there’s a calm peace that no matter what happens, it will be alright…

Well people seek different things.. I think you will the majority and i am not saying how big that majority is Seek Love..

But then again i might be wrong about this in these times.. Lots of people seem to have given up on love and are chancing material wealth and social status, control / power..

As for me i value peace of mind greatly..
karysma · 31-35, F
@Adstar Same here. I used to seek happiness in people but learnt the hard way that it's a waste of precious time.
Adstar · 56-60, M
@karysma In these times ( and i believe we are in the end times ) i agree with you.. The love of many has grown cold.. So finding happiness in people is like searching for a diamond in a mountain of rock..
In the existing times, majority runs blindly for power/money.

Purpose and peace

Unfortunately for most people it's money.
karysma · 31-35, F
@TheFragile Yeah and it's the root of all evil.
Adstar · 56-60, M
@karysma The Love of money is indeed a root of much evil..
@karysma “The love of money is the root of all evil.”

@RogueLoner And wow there's so many I can't decide which one to choose. Since they have their own relationships so figured out and all. 🙄

@Elevatorpitches Self validation begins in the mind. The minute you entertain negative thoughts about yourself you entertain every negative word spoken to you. .
@karysma I just replaced that answer with a better one.
