First floor - In US it means the ground floor. In England it means the 1st floor above the ground floor 🙂

What Americans call potato chips we call crisps.

We have biscuits not cookies.

And chocolate not candy.

All fizzy drinks are not soda....

Here a Fanny is not a bottom.Nor is a beaver.

We do not have elevators.We have lifts.

Trousers are what Americans call Pants.Here Pants are underwear.

@bijouxbroussard The whole thing is confectionary but that's a word that's seldom used. It's subdivided into either chocolate (usually a single bar of) or chocolates(as in a box of), or the anything else is called sweets. Not sure where you guys got the word candy from, you have such a diverse population the etymology would be interesting.
