what about "liberal"?

from this distance, i would be embarrassed to describe any of my American friends as liberal, and equally embarrassed to describe any of my British friends as not liberal...

@Yulianna Hmmm is there a distinction between capital-L Liberal (politics) and liberal (ethical principles)
KiwiBird36-40, F
@Yulianna Liberal in Australia is the main Right Wing political party and their followers. More Akin to American Republicans.

@Yulianna And to throw sand in the custard, Australia's "liberal" government is a blend of two Conservative Parties.

Yulianna22-25, F
@Really in answer to your question to me... what else?
Really80-89, M

Yulianna22-25, F
@Really you asked if there was a distinction between Liberal politics and liberal ethics.

i replied, yes.

@KiwiBird this liberal thing is probably the most confusing among all the words here. Heck it means different things in many countries it seems!
Really80-89, M
@Yulianna Thank you. It was not clear, which part of which of my comments you were agreeing with.
Yulianna22-25, F
@Really you asked me only one question...
